We'll take a break from lively conversation to hear a brief (we promise) summary from our fearless leader Holly Tarry about the top news on public policy affecting our pets, wildlife and farm animals in Colorado. Meet our VIP guest Marc Bekoff Professor Emeritus of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at CU and co-founder, with Jane Goodall, of Ethologists for the Ethical Treatment of Animals,a fellow of the Animal Behavior Society and former Guggenheim fellow. Marc lectures internationally on animal behavior, cognitive ethology (the study of animal minds), and behavioral ecology, and writes a science column about animal emotion for Psychology Today.
